Our Mission
Falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths among adults 65 and older in the US. A significant percentage are preventable with the right information — yet most product reviews are written by affiliate marketers with no direct testing experience.
SafeNest Senior exists to close that gap. We physically test medical alert systems, grab bars, bathroom safety equipment, and fall prevention tools — against published occupational therapy standards and primary research from the CDC, AOTA, and CPSC.
Our guides help adult children, caregivers, and seniors themselves make confident decisions — without needing to sort through conflicting SEO articles or hidden paid recommendations.
The Founder

Nghia founded SafeNest Senior after helping his own family navigate the confusing and often conflicting landscape of senior safety products. Frustrated by affiliate-driven content masquerading as independent advice, he set out to build a publication grounded in primary research, direct product testing, and transparent methodology.
His research process is aligned with Occupational Therapy protocols from AOTA and incorporates fall statistics from the CDC, WHO, and NIH. Every recommendation on SafeNest Senior is backed by documented testing or cited primary research.
